【New Product】40Gbps transmission with “HF513 series” and “YFBS series”
We have developed the product that supports 40Gbps high-speed transmission by combining the FPC connector “HF513 series” and YFLEX® “YFBS series”.
The connector “HF513 series” and YFLEX® “YFBS series” can be used independently for high-speed transmission applications of 40Gbps / ch class such as PCI Express 5.0 and Thunderbolt 3. By fusing high-speed transmission technology for connectors and high-speed transmission FPC technology using low-dielectric materials, we have succeeded in developing higher-speed transmission on the transmission line that combines the connector and YFLEX®, which is a feature of this product.The product combining both connector and FPC can deliver higher performance, such as 56G PAM4 transmission.
In the future, it is expected to be used as a jumper cable for CIP to CIP and Chip to Module in markets such as 5G base stations, communications, network equipment, AI, IoT, and 8K4K, where further high-speed transmission is expected.
In addition, there is no need to purchase connectors and YFLEX® from different manufacturers, and there are many merits such as guarantee of transmission characteristics, guarantee of mating, and unification of contact points in case of trouble.
