【New product】Next generation high speed interface connector “HF507S-U series”
Yamaichi has newly developed the “HF507S-U series”, a series of high-speed connectors that complies with the next-generation high-speed interface known as the “V-by-One® US” ※1 standard, a technical specification developed by THine Electronics, Inc. ※2. Full-scale commercialization of the series is scheduled to be within 2018.
“HF507S-U series” are series of connectors that complies with the next-generation high-speed interface standard known as “V-by-One® US”. The development was possible in collaboration with THine Electronics, Inc., with the high-speed transmission technology our company has cultivated over the years of developing connectors.
When used with Yamaichi’s V-by-One® US compliant cable “YFCS series” ※3, the combination can realize transmission lines that show low crosstalk noise, low transmission loss and impedance matching necessary for multi-channel high-speed transmission lines.
The receptacle connectors of the HF507S-U series will include a 41 pin model and a 51 pin model with two options for the insertion, “direct insertion type” and “adapter insertion type”.
We will continue to contribute to the technological advancements of electronic devices to support 8K, which is expected to increase in preparation of the Olympic year 2020 and also for the new demand of the medical market.
In addition, we expect this connector to contribute to not only video transmission technology, but also for the deployment of 28-56Gbps level transmission units as measurement equipments, as well as the infrastructure of telecom/data center.

V-by-One® HS, which, has now become a de facto standard worldwide. It enables transmission four times faster
